Hope you are all staying warm and cozy this winter! Snow has thrown a wrench in some of my photo studio scheduling this week. I do not mind, as I get to stay home and catch up on some busy work, including blogging and showing some of the beautiful images I have done in the past year.
I know I tend to post newborn sessions, which is natural since this is what I specialize in. What many of you do not know is that I also do a lot of baby milestone photo sessions, especially 6-month photos (sitters), 1-year photos, and holiday and special occasion mini sessions as well. Most commonly, my “baby” clients are 1 year olds and toddlers, and we have SO MUCH FUN photographing them!
I have a lot of parents who come to me with great ideas, or requests (colors, themes, styles). Many bring special outfits (like this little lady’s mom) and stuffed toys or book. I welcome all ideas, and trust me I have seen and done it all (okay, most of it!).
My studio mini session pricing right now is very simple: a low session fee to cover the session, and then it’s pay-per-image! Baby and toddler photos sessions are relatively short because little ones do not really have the patience for anything longer than a 15-20 minute sessions, so the overall commitment is pretty easy. Most importantly, mini sessions are FUN! Yes, FUN! We basically do silly stuff, sing, giggle and play, while taking pictures.

I do birthday sets, cake smashes, Easter and Valentine’s Day photos (THOSE ARE GREAT to print for school’s valentines!), and any possible milestone session you can think of.
