SIMPLE SESSION PRICING
Your photography investment is simple:
- Session fee (to cover photographer’s time, expertise, session preparation, post-session photo editing, and the session itself). Please note, your session fee does not include any digital images, those are purchased separately.
- Pay for the images you want to get after reviewing the proof gallery from the session: Choose the photos you like from the viewing gallery, and either select a digital package or pay a la carte per digital image, your orders will arrive easily via a download within 24 hours. No minimum order commitments. No unnecessary add-ons. FAST. EASY. SIMPLE.

Your session fee includes:
- pre-session consultation and communication before and after the session
- photo session fee/sitting fee
- private gallery for viewing fully retouched images from the session available online for 10 days for your viewing and ordering
Please notice that a contract/session fee are required to book. Availability is subject to change and is not guaranteed until the session is booked.
NEWBORN and PORTRAIT SESSION FEES:
Full Newborn Session at Studio | $200
Photo session up to 3 hours focusing on posed portraiture of your Newborn (ideally, within the first 7-14 days of life, but may be a bit older, depending on Baby’s due date and other factors) and immediate family members (parents and siblings). The full newborn studio session includes 4-5 setups (blankets and props), photos with family, and results in a proof gallery of about 45-50 images to order from.
Newborn Only Session at Studio | $125
Photo session up to 1.5 hours focusing on posed portraiture of your Newborn (ideally, within the first 7-14 days of life, but may be a bit older, depending on Baby’s due date and other factors). This session is for Newborn only, and includes 2-3 setups (blankets and props) resulting in a proof gallery of about 30-35 images to order from.
Older Newborn Session at Studio | $125
Photo session up to 1.5 hours focusing on portraiture of your older Newborn only (between 4-5 weeks old and about 12 weeks old). Older newborn sessions are uniquely offered by Chasing Moments Photography for newborns 4-12 weeks of age, and include wrapped images on fur or in bowl/crate, semi-dressed images on fur or in bowl/crate, and, if Baby allows, semi-posed shots on 1 blanket. Older newborn sessions usually yield proof galleries of about 30-35 images to order from.
“All Wrapped” Newborn Mini Session at Studio | $75
Photo session up to 45 minutes focusing on posed portraiture of your wrapped Newborn (ideally, within the first 14-21 days of life, but may be a bit older, depending on Baby’s due date and other factors). “All wrapped” sessions focus on wrapped shots only (no posed nude portraits) and include 1 bowl/crate prop for shots from above, shots on 1 fur/blanket, and images with parents. “All wrapped” sessions result in a proof gallery of about 20 proofs to select from.
Baby / Child Studio Mini Session at Studio | $50
Photo session up to 20 minutes for your child 6 months and older (must be able to comfortably sit unsupported for at least 15-20 seconds). Baby/ Child Studio Mini Sessions focus on portraiture of your little one only (no portraits with parents), and include up to 2 different backdrop setups or outfits, provided your child’s cooperation. Baby/Child Studio Mini Sessions result in a proof gallery of about 15-20 edited proofs to select from.
AT-HOME ADD ON | $75
If you would like to have your session done in the comfort of your home, no problem. Your photographer will deliver the custom studio look to you. $75 within 10-15 mile radius in Northern Virginia, additional fee for further travel will apply. For at home newborn and baby/toddler sessions please allow about 8×10 ft of uncluttered free space for lighting and staging.
POLICIES
These policies apply to all sessions.
- Chasing Moments Photography operates by appointment only. A contract+session fee is required to book the session. No walk-in appointments.
- Out of consideration to all current and prospective clients, sessions cannot be modified to combine additional setups/family members
- The amount of your session fee is due upon booking your session to reserve your date/time and to finalize your reservation
- Online gallery of proofs is available for viewing for 10 days. Re-setting the gallery for additional 3 days is $75
- Canvases, prints, collages, and photo books are available for purchase per separate “product catalog”
